We surveyed Yokohama to discover the Chinese style of lighting environment alive within Japan.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/shomei-tanteidan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/global-research_yokohama_04.jpg\" alt=\"global-research_yokohama_04\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>At night, there are many hanging lanterns with soft glowing light. This \u201cLight with a Shape\u201d or, through colorful shades, \u201cLight with Color\u201d is a staple of Chinatown and helps to create excitement and a sense of elation.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/shomei-tanteidan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/global-research_yokohama_05.jpg\" alt=\"global-research_yokohama_05\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Along the main street there is no specific street lighting, but shop lighting and luminous signage create a natural ambiance along the street.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/shomei-tanteidan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/global-research_yokohama_06.jpg\" alt=\"global-research_yokohama_06\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Most structures have columns painted red and use warm tone lighting, but the facade design and signage is all different.
