Casablanca street

Every city has an old town and a new town, but in Casablanca I felt the difference the most. In the new town, there were large stores with neon signs, people enjoying street performances, and people chatting on terraces brightly lit by fluorescent lights.
On the other hand, in the neighboring old town, daily necessities and food products were sold on the roadside, littered with garbage, in the dim light of sodium lamps. It's amazing how so many different worlds can be found just a few minutes walk away. It bothered me that all of the various products were colored orange in the light with poor color rendering, but this may be a minor issue for Moroccans who have a laid-back temperament.
