In contrast to the city walking tours, these extended trips sometimes take the Lighting Detectives to foreign countries to study the nightscapes of various places. Previous night watching tours have included such locations as: Amusement City, Las Vegas, illuminated chrysanthemum greenhouses of the Atsumi Peninsula in Aichi Pref., and Singapore and Honk Kong Christmas Illuminations.
