The World Lighting Journey is a photo library of nightscapes and lighting environments from cities worldwide. Lighting Detectives hopes this database will be a catalyst for future discussion on urban lightscapes and local lighting culture. Saitama New Urban Center Station Area
A promenade has been built around the Saitama Shin-Toshin station, with a plan to separate pedestrians and vehicles that allows smooth circulation from the station ticket gates at the 2nd floor level to the various facilities. The ground level is brightly illuminated by pole lights for the street, while the promenade is lit by lower lighting such as upper lights and footlights, with the exception of design pole lights in some park areas, which have different expressions of light.
